Onboarding, payments and approvals for a business bank whose smallest customers were its least profitable, until the account opened itself.
Opening a company account took eleven days, four PDFs and a branch visit, because licence, shareholding and beneficial-owner checks were done by hand. Once open, releasing a payment needed a signature on a scanned form.
The registry does the paperwork
Trade licence, shareholding and beneficial-owner data are pulled from source registries and checked automatically. The applicant confirms rather than types.
Approvals that match the mandate
Limits, dual authorisation and delegated authority are configured once and enforced in the app, so a founder in an airport can release payroll safely.
Bookkeeping at the source
Receipts attach to the transaction at the moment of spend and export to the accountant on a schedule, which removed the month-end scramble outright.
Small-business accounts became same-day and profitable, and the segment the bank had been quietly discouraging is now growing on purpose.
